Scope and publisher

The service is published by Data ScienceTech Institute, trading as DSTI School of Engineering. RCS Antibes: 810 239 137. Registered office: 950 Route des Colles, Les Templiers, 06410 Sophia-Antipolis (Biot), France.

Publisher, hosting and copyright information is available in the DSTI Legal Notice. These terms apply to applicants, authorised representatives and DSTI-approved study-abroad agents using the application service.

What the service does

The service lets an applicant start, save, resume and submit an application to DSTI. Where authorised, a DSTI-approved agent may support a represented applicant. It also presents backend-governed questions, document requirements, application status and secure links for actions that remain on the DSTI Web application.

The service supports an admissions process. It does not itself award admission, a scholarship, a visa, matriculation or enrolment, and use of the service does not guarantee admission.

Applicant and agent responsibilities

• Provide complete, accurate, current and unambiguous information and correct errors promptly.
• Use an email address you control and protect authentication messages, sessions and access links from other people.
• Submit only documents and information that you are entitled to provide.
• Do not impersonate another person, attempt to access another applicant’s record, interfere with the service or use automated access outside an expressly supported interface.
• If the applicant is a minor, provide the guardian information and authority required by the application.
• An agent must act only for applicants whom the agent is authorised to represent and must remain an active DSTI-approved agent.

An applicant remains responsible for reviewing the complete application before submission, including information entered with help from an agent or compatible assistant.

Backend validation and admissions decisions

DSTI’s backend applies the current programme, entry, study-route, language, evidence, document, fee and submission rules to the saved application. The browser and ChatGPT connector display or transport those decisions; they do not replace the backend or create an exemption from conversation alone.

A successful save or validation means only that the service accepted the stated data at that point. DSTI Admissions and, where applicable, Direction of Studies retain authority over academic assessment, interviews, examinations, scholarships, admission and later enrolment decisions.

ChatGPT and the DSTI connector

OpenAI operates ChatGPT under OpenAI’s own terms and privacy arrangements. Connecting the optional DSTI connector authorises ChatGPT to request only the DSTI permissions shown during connection. DSTI credentials are entered only on the DSTI authentication provider, never in the conversation.

The connector uses the authenticated account, not an email address stated in conversation, to determine ownership. A proposed application change is previewed first and is applied only after explicit confirmation of that exact current preview. The connector may refuse or return you to the secure Web application whenever identity, privacy, data sensitivity or the applicable rule cannot be handled safely in ChatGPT.

You may disconnect the connector in ChatGPT. Disconnecting stops future connector access but does not delete an application or override DSTI’s lawful record-retention obligations.

Documents, identity and payments

Protected documents, identity evidence and file uploads remain on the authenticated DSTI Web application. Do not put passport contents, identity-document images, passwords, one-time codes or card details into ChatGPT.

When a payment applies, the DSTI Application System hands the applicant to a Stripe-hosted payment page. DSTI and the connector do not ask for or process card details in ChatGPT. Programme tuition, scholarships, deposits and refunds are governed by the applicable published DSTI information, including the fees and scholarships dispatch page and Tuition Fees Refund Policy. These terms do not replace those financial conditions.

Availability and changes

DSTI may maintain, correct, suspend or change the service to protect applicants, preserve data consistency, reflect current admissions policy or respond to provider availability. DSTI does not promise uninterrupted availability. Saved records remain governed by the canonical backend state, and an ambiguous or unsafe operation may fail closed or require completion through the Web application.

DSTI may update these terms. The published page will state the effective version, and material changes will apply prospectively subject to mandatory law. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

How DSTI collects, uses, shares, retains and protects personal data, and how users may exercise their rights, is described in the DSTI Privacy Policy. Its Application System retention and optional ChatGPT connector sections describe the applicable record, document, identity and operational-log lifecycle, the connector’s data-minimisation boundaries, international processing and the effect of disconnecting the connector.
